The Ritz first opened its doors in 1906, and has always been considered one of the greatest hotels in the world. It was conceived by the visionary hotelier César Ritz – considered “King of hoteliers, and hotelier to Kings” – who wished to create a hotel with character, elegance and an atmosphere where guests would be pampered and expectations surpassed. That is why no expense was spared for the construction of its magnificent interiors and lavish furnishings.
